Meet Our Safety Team

Mark Ackerson
Mr. Ackerson has performed electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and safety administration in the manufacturing industry since 1985. He is a Licensed Master Electrician in the state of Michigan with expertise in electrical maintenance and safety training programs as well as OSHA and National Electrical Code regulations. Mr. Ackerson is a member of the National Safety Council, National Electrical Testing Association and a certified trainer in lockout, confined space entry and robotics safety.
 
Dave Adcock
Mr. Adcock has worked in the manufacturing, petrochemical and military facility industry since 1953. He has strong experience in repair and maintenance of aircraft, electronic, electrical, fiber optics and control instrumentation. Mr. Adcock served in the U.S. Army and Air Force for a total of 22 years in the electronic communications and aviation field. He received his Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
 
Doug Baxter
Mr. Baxter has worked in the municipal, utility and industrial industry since 1973. His expertise includes electrical inspections, arc flash hazard analysis and electrical safety procedures and regulations. Mr. Baxter is a licensed electrical contractor and electrical safety inspector in the state of Ohio. He received his Associates in Industrial Electronics from Youngstown State University.
 
Ralph Carrillo
Mr. Carillo has worked in the power utility industry since 1975. His expertise includes installation of primary and secondary cables and equipment, design and estimation of projects to subdivisions, commercial and industrial facilities, installation, testing and calibration of electric meters and devices. He is an OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer and Certified ERCOT Meter Facility Inspector.
 
Hugh Davall
Mr. Davall has worked in nuclear, petrochemical and industrial facilities since 1960. His expertise includes all phases of design, development and implementation in the fields of electrical, mechanical, instrument and control maintenance training. He graduated from the U.S. Army Nuclear Power Plant Operators school, Arizona State University, Florida State University as well as others.
 
Mark Franks
Mr. Franks has worked in the power utility and communications industry since 1972. He has strong experience in fiber optics, cable and equipment installation and testing as well as safety procedures, training records and programs based on OSHA and NFPA regulations and other industry standards. Mr. Franks is an authorized OSHA Instructor for all general industry and construction regulations, a member of the FOA, NFPA, IAEI, American Society of Safety Engineers and American Society for Testing and Materials.
 
Tim Gauthier
Mr. Gauthier has worked in the military and automotive manufacturing industry since 1977. He has strong experience in the installation, inspection and repair of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment. His expertise includes troubleshooting and repair of programmable logic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, preventive/predictive maintenance programs and implementing process development. Mr. Gauthier received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. He served in the U.S. Army for 12 years.
 
Charlie Helmick, Development Manager
Mr. Helmick has been a licensed electrician, electrical inspector and electrical contractor in industrial, commercial and municipal facilities since 1991. He holds a Master Electrician license with the state of Texas and has strong experience in the repair of equipment related to aircraft support, pipeline, mining, sewer, power plant, plant processing, steel building construction, elevators and escalators. Mr. Helmick is currently a member of the NFPA and is a Certified Electrical Inspector.
 
Tom Norwood
Mr. Norwood has performed electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and safety administration in utility and transit facilities since 1968. He has strong experience analyzing and isolating system problems in the transmission power grid, developing black start procedures, lockout/tagout, maintenance and safety training programs. Mr. Norwood is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI), IEEE, Fiber Optic Association (FOA) and a committee member for the NFPA.
 
William Pharr
Mr. Pharr has worked in the power utility industry since 1966. He has strong experience in the repair and maintenance of transmission lines and substations including the Live Line Barehand technique, E H V transformer and circuit breaker repair and maintenance. Mr. Pharr served for 6 years with the United States Marine Corps Reserve completing as Batallion Radio Chief.
 
Scott Young
Mr. Young has worked in the power utility industry since 1981. He has strong experience in the development of safe work practice manuals for substation operations, annual safety programs and lockout/tagout programs for substation equipment. Mr. Young is an OSHA , Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) authorized instructor and a member of the NFPA. He graduated from the University of South Florida and San Leo University.
